"MEMORY. A Play of Twos" is a limited edition photo book produced to commemorate HEREU's 10th anniversary.
This book looks back on the brand's creative journey to date and uses photographs to express the artistic connections and roots that HEREU holds dear.
The photographs in this book are the result of a quiet collaboration with photographers from around the world, who HEREU has asked to share a photograph in exchange for an item from the collection, which will then be used as postcards.
This time, we have carefully selected these photographs and compiled them into a book with a new structure.
The theme of this book is "photos to look at in pairs."
By combining photographs taken by different photographers, at different times, and in different places, with commonalities in shape, color, rhythm, and atmosphere, mysterious connections and quiet dialogues emerge.
This composition also reflects HEREU's creations themselves.
This style, in which two things resonate with each other, also reflects the relationships with colleagues who share memories of the Mediterranean and a respect for traditional craftsmanship.
At the end of the book, there is also a collection of writings that describe the overlapping of these memories and sensations, and the moment when a new story is born.
